In ‘tanztanz’, gaming and dancefloors come together: the space is transformed into a multiplayer game in which dancers and DJs face off as players on the dance floor. The video game projected into the space is controlled by controllers held by the audience and the DJ’s controller as its counterpart. In this way, the participants jointly influence the game world on both a musical and visual level.
