We are Polarity Flow, a small team of professional programmers, game developers, designers, sound engineers and marketeers who provide high quality software and games design for PC, consoles and mobile devices.
Polarity Flow was founded in 2010 by Adrian Zingg and Mirjam Bader. In the first year they released Wing Zero, Blue X and Sky Steel, next to different tool apps and clients projects.
By 2013 they had released a successful series of mini fun apps and games. With the release of Steel Rain - Heavy Wings, Wing Zero II, Kiss App, Shocker, Moon Beam, Happy Birds and others, they reached the first million players on mobile devices. As projects grew in complexity and quality very fast, the trend for mobile games moved to simplicity, it was time to change focus to pc and console game development.
In 2013 they teamed up with Ogi Schneider to design and develop Sky Mercenaries, a novel SHMUP / RPG Hybrid for Steam that released on Steam in December 2014 with an integrated stage editor and steam workshop features. As an active community stage designer and bug reporter for Sky Mercenaries, Aaron McCarthy joined their team as tester.
In 2014 development began on the complex and feature rich SHMUP Strategy Hybrid, Steel Rain. After releasing in December 2015 Steel Rain received extremely positive feedback on steam, and has since been selected by Microsoft to be released on Xbox One this year. Steel Rain also comes with integrated stage editor and unlimited content. The nearly unlimited colonization, research, trading, upgrades and drone features allows the player to discover new game elements even after a hundred hours of game time.
In 2016 they developed and released ARK BOX Unlimited for Steam, wich allows Players to create and share unique Arkanoid based Games via Steam Workshop. In December 2016, Steel Rain X has been released for Xbox One, bringing new features and a graphics overhaul to consoles.
Polarity Flow then released Cyber Complex for Xbox One and Windows platforms. Cyber Complex a unique 60s Sci-Fi Hacking Simulator with intense Storyline and Strategy elements.
