I'm a computer scientist working on methods for the ananlysis, management and retrieval of multimedia data. I'm also one of the developers of vitrivr, the open-source multimedia retrieval stack. Currently, I work as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Dynamic and Distributed Information Systems Group at the University of Zurich where I lead the MediaGraph project. Before that, I was a member of the Databases and Information Systems Group at the University of Basel, where I also obtained my PhD.
When not doing research or tinkering with various technologies, I spend my time making games with Pixel with Hat.
