Microbiomes

Microbiomes teaches about bacteria, viruses and their environment in a fun and interactive way. Players solve unique and challenging puzzles using different microbes and their special interactions with each other. Step by step, the complex relationships between the different microbes and their environment become tangible.

The game offers 36 levels to puzzle and 7 different microbes, whose abilities correspond to real microbes.

Microbiomes was developed by Koboldgames in collaboration with the NCCR Microbiomes (funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation) and kindly sponsored by the Leenaards Foundation and the Herbette Foundation.

The game is used at public events as a promotional tool, as well as in schools with additional teaching material.
